Malarkey Roofing Products 2024 Sustainability Report
Sustainable roofing at Malarkey is more than just our long-lasting shingles themselves - it is environmental stewardship.To create our industry-leading roofing products we use cleaner manufacturing methods and lower-carbon materials such as Malarkey’s proprietary NEX® Polymer Modified (Rubberized) Asphalt and 3M™ roofing granules.
The results include higher shingle performance, landfill reduction, cleaner air, cooler roofs and more:

~1.5 Million ‘Planted’ trees to help clean the air by adding smog-reducing granules atop our shingles.

~6.8 Million Upcycled rubber tires diverted from the landfill by incorporating upcycled rubber into our shingles.

~4.5 Billion Upcycled plastic bags were diverted from the landfill by incorporating upcycled plastic into our shingles.
