PORTLAND, Oregon – Malarkey Roofing Products®, the leader in sustainable, performance roofing shingles, is pleased to announce the promotion of Gregory B. Malarkey to President, and installation of Dale Rushing as Chief Operating Officer.

Dale’s appointment as Chief Operating Officer is a testament to those traits, and I look forward to working alongside him as we continue to pioneer advancements in the roofing industry,” he added.

Gregory B. Malarkey most recently served as Senior Vice President at the company, where he led several key industry innovations such as The Zone® nailing area, Highlander® NEX® & Vista® polymer modified asphalt shingles and most recently, the industry’s first smog-reducing shingle. An industry veteran, Gregory also held leadership roles within the Asphalt Roofing Manufacturers Association where he served as Chairman, as well as with the Asphalt Roofing Environmental Council and Asphalt Institute. He is the only two-time winner of the Outstanding Service Award from Western States Roofing Contractors Association.

Dale Rushing comes to Malarkey with over 20 years’ experience in roofing products. Most recently, he has served in leadership roles overseeing operations, finance and administration for a building materials manufacturer. He is a graduate of Mississippi State University.
