Features & Benefits

350 Paragon® CHROMA Cap is a fire-rated (FR) cap sheet manufactured to meet the needs of a high quality built-up roofing system, as a single layer rolled roofing install or tile underlayment. 350 Paragon® CHROMA Cap sheet can be mechanically fastened or applied with hot mopping asphalt or cold process adhesives. Approved for use on all fire-rated built-up roofs. Installed as a stand-alone sheet, 350 Paragon® CHROMA Cap has a Class "C" fire rating.

Please consult Malarkey's Technical Services Department for approval of roof systems when used as a cap sheet in a BUR system.

350 Paragon® CHROMA Cap is manufactured on fiberglass mat uniformly impregnated and coated on both sides with SBS polymer modified bitumen (asphalt) compounded with a fire-retardant mineral stabilizer and surfaced with ceramic granules for ultraviolet protection and weatherability.

350 Paragon® CHROMA Cap in Dove White is listed in the CRRC directory, allowing for overall energy savings due to the solar reflectance of the cap sheet.

Installing 350 Paragon® CHROMA Cap in Dove White can qualify for LEED credits, visit our LEED page for more details.

350 Paragon® CHROMA Cap “Dove White” Benefits:

Reducing energy use: A cool roof transfers less heat to the entire building, allowing the structure to stay cool and uses less energy for air conditioning.

Reducing air pollution and greenhouse gas emissions: Lowering energy use for cool roofs can decrease the production of associated air pollution and greenhouse gas emissions.

Improved comfort: Cool roofs can reduce the overall air temperatures inside buildings with and without air conditioning.

Cool Roof Rating Council ratings are determined for a fixed set of conditions and may not be appropriate for determining seasonal energy performance. The actual effect of solar reflectance and thermal emittance on building performance may vary.
Manufacturer of product stipulates that these ratings were determined in accordance with the applicable Cool Roof Rating Council procedures.
