Made with our industry-leading Polymer Modified (Rubberized) Asphalt, Paragon® MOD Base is our hot asphalt applied, modified asphalt sheet for low-slope commercial roofing applications.

System Optionality

Paragon® MOD Base is a modified asphalt sheet that can be used as either a base sheet or ply sheet to create a 2-4 layer multi-ply system that meets desired performance, cost, and warranty needs.

Modified Asphalt Performance

Paragon® MOD Base is constructed with our proprietary Polymer Modified (Rubberized) Asphalt, reinforced with fiberglass, to create a super strong, durable waterproof sheet membrane.

Hot Asphalt Application

Paragon® MOD Base is a hot asphalt applied membrane. Asphalt is naturally sticky, even more so when heated. When installed, liquified asphalt is spread across the roof, filling voids, cracks and other unseen penetrations. It is then layered and repeated to ensure a watertight roofing system that has proven to last up to 50 years.

Modified Asphalt

Made with proprietary Polymer Modified (Rubberized) Asphalt for exceptional weathering and extra strength, flexibility, and durability to resist damage and last longer.

Hot Asphalt

Sheet is applied via hot asphalt. Asphalt is naturally sticky, even more so when heated. During installation, liquified asphalt is spread across the roof, filling voids, cracks and other unseen penetrations, and adheres layered membranes to ensure a watertight roofing system.

Multi-ply System

Can be combined with conventional or modified asphalt sheets to create multi-layer redundancy and satisfy performance need, cost, or warranty.

Strong & Durable

Modified asphalt sheets are reinforced with rubber and plastic polymers on a non-woven fiberglass mat. Combined with other sheets for redundancy, delivers greater tear strength than conventional built-up roofing membranes for extreme, lasting durability. Up to 426 mils thick in a 3-ply system, 10X thicker than common single ply roofing systems.

Waterproof System

Naturally waterproof asphalt, built into a multi-ply system, helps resist water penetration.

Fire Resistance (FR)

Class A fire rated in a system assembly over a combustible or non-combustible deck.
